So happy that I found YOU for inspiration! My family inspires my recipes. I think about their favorite ingredients and work from there. I think about how my mom would prepare meals and integrate that into my cooking.
This is a crucial way to deliver delicious food on the table - you're smart! It's also a certain comfort to pull from the wisdom of someone who's done it well over the years... mothers who cook deserve so much gratitude.
Thank you for this delightful opportunity. Your newsletters inspire me! But I also find daily inspiration from discussing and swapping recipes with friends. I’d especially love to have your cookbook in my collection and the others would just add to my joy. I’m certain the beans cookbook could convert my husband.
I am honored to be able to inspire you - thank you for the opportunity! For lots more of that, you've won this giveaway! Please send your address to me at hello[at]melinahammer[dot]com
It'll be so nice to hear back about your husband rightfully falling in love with beans. In addition to the great Bean Book, I know there are a couple in my book that can help steer him there... :-)
I am inspired by all things culinary. Give me five minutes of conversation and I can make anyone hungry. I'm told that all the time. And I'm especially inspired by gardening. Especially, growing produce that's just not available or that isn't easily accessible. Everything tastes better fresh from the garden. And I like having control of the ingredients in my daily meals.
I also love a good cookbook for inspiration. These three wold be a welcomed addition to my collection!
Isn't gardening just *the best*? Even when it isn't a smash success, it brings so many lessons and new awareness. What 'ot easily accessible' produce are you bringing into your repertoire for 2025? Totally agree that everything tastes better from the garden <3
We can all learn from bringing more legumes into our lifestyle. I have a pot waiting for me as I type this, and going to share some yummy bean-centric dishes here soon... :D
Thanks so much for the opportunity with these cookbooks! Inspiration comes through seasons for me. Even though people don’t think where I live in California has seasons (winter, spring, etc), we do have growing seasons! So am inspired to cook dishes with fresh vegetables that are at the farmers markets. Exploring these new cookbooks would be especially fun because of the variety (yours sounds right up my alley) and I’ve been wanting to learn more about beans and their magic! Thanks again and happy new year! 🎊
I wholeheartedly agree - whatever the season is ushers new inspirations and helps shape new explorations! I will be doing a new series on beans this year, explicitly to familiarize *and* make people fall in love...!
Ooh this is such exciting news. Thank you Melina! I’m truly delighted and will definitely share my journey through the pages of these books.

Street foods from around the world or any new recipe inspire me to cook! These books would be a playground for me!
Gosh yes, there are so many succinct and brilliant touches street food vendors pull from to make food great!
Fun! Thank you for the opportunity to toss my name in the hat for BEANS ++
The new year is all about legumes and health for me. Love your work, your recipes and look forward to learning more from you.
